Roles and Responsibilities


Key Responsibilities: 1. Strategic Leadership: • Develop and implement risk management strategies, policies, and procedures to identify, assess, and mitigate risks effectively. • Collaborate with senior management to set risk appetite, tolerance levels, and risk management objectives aligned with the company's overall vision and growth targets. 2. Risk Assessment and Monitoring: • Conduct risk assessments to identify and evaluate risks associated with business activities, products, and services. • Implement risk monitoring tools and systems to track key risk indicators and ensure timely identification of emerging risks. 3. Regulatory Compliance: • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards governing risk management and financial services. • Stay abreast of regulatory developments and assess their impact on the firm's risk management practices. 4. Risk Mitigation and Control: • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and controls to minimize exposure to identified risks. • Monitor the effectiveness of risk controls and recommend enhancements as necessary to address evolving risks. 5. Risk Reporting and Communication: • Prepare regular risk reports and communicate key risk insights to senior management and relevant stakeholders. • Facilitate risk discussions and provide guidance on risk-related matters to internal teams and departments. 6. Crisis Management and Business Continuity: • Develop and maintain business continuity plans to ensure the firm's ability to respond effectively to crises and disruptions. • Coordinate crisis management efforts and lead response activities in the event of significant risk events or emergencies.
