Roles and Responsibilities


Responsibilities: 1. Trade Settlement Processing: Assist in the timely and accurate processing of trade settlements, including confirming trades, reconciling discrepancies, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. 2. Documentation Management: Maintain organized records of trade confirmations, contracts, and other settlement-related documents. Ensure all documentation is properly filed and archived according to company policies. 3. Communication: Communicate effectively with brokers, custodians, and other external parties to resolve settlement issues and inquiries in a timely manner. Collaborate with internal departments such as trading, compliance, and operations as needed. 4. Risk Management: Identify and escalate any potential risks or discrepancies in trade settlements promptly. Work with senior team members to implement corrective actions and mitigate risks effectively. 5. Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate settlement processes and procedures to identify areas for improvement. Assist in implementing enhancements to streamline settlement workflows and enhance efficiency. 6. Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, including but not limited to SEC, FINRA, and exchange rules. Stay updated on changes in regulations affecting settlement operations and implement necessary changes accordingly. 7. Reporting: Assist in generating settlement-related reports for internal stakeholders as needed. Compile and analyze data to support decision-making and monitor key performance indicators.
